Create a candidate report

Download a .csv of your new referral leads to ensure they receive timely follow-up.

Referrals are typically the highest-quality source of candidates, so they should be given top priority. We recommend pulling a candidate report weekly so you can make sure your recruiters are following up on these hot leads.

Step 1: Navigate to "Referrals" > "Candidates"

Step 2: Select "Follow Up"

This tab contains all of the candidates who have not yet been contacted by a recruiter.

Step 3: Download a .csv

Click "Export Candidates" in the top right-hand corner.

Step 4: Edit the file

The .csv contains a lot of information, some of which you won't need. For example, the lead ID is used on the back end of Staffing Referrals, but it's not critical for a candidate report.

We recommend you delete all columns EXCEPT:

  • Candidate email
  • Candidate first and last name
  • Candidate phone
  • Candidate job title (if applicable)
  • Ambassador email
  • Ambassador first and last name
  • Ambassador phone
  • Recruiter first and last name

Once you have just the information you need, you can sort the file by recruiter so you can easily see who needs to focus on follow-up. Ask recruiters to report weekly on their outreach activities.
