Your organization’s Staffing Referrals portal may use a standard subdomain (your-agency.staffingreferrals.com) or a custom domain (refer.your-agency.com).
The standard subdomain does not require any special setup. Custom domains require just a few steps, depending on how you want to manage the security for the domain. Custom domains provide several advantages, such as the ability to integrate with your existing web analytics and security infrastructure.
You have two options for setting up a custom subdomain.
Option 1: Client provides SSL Certificate
- Your IT staff provides Staffing Referrals an SSL certificate for the chosen domain.
- Staffing Referrals installs the SSL certificate.
- Staffing Referrals provides a DNS CNAME record to use for the domain.
- Your IT department updates DNS settings.
Option 2: Staffing Referrals manages your SSL Certificate
- Staffing Referrals generates a certificate request on your behalf.
- For security, the certificate provider requires proof that this request is legitimate. Staffing Referrals coordinates with your IT staff to provide this proof.
- Staffing Referrals installs the SSL certificate.
- Staffing Referrals provides a DNS CNAME record to use for the domain.
- Your IT staff updates DNS settings.
If you're on a standard subdomain and would like to move to a custom one, contact your Staffing Referrals account manager.
