The more ambassadors you have, the more referrals you will get. Invite new ambassadors regularly to maximize your referral leads.
When you first launch Staffing Referrals, we will help you upload a starting list of potential brand ambassadors to invite to your referral program. Or, if Staffing Referrals is integrated with your ATS, we'll help you select the candidates you want to invite at launch.
But, don't stop there! The more ambassadors you have, the larger your network will be and the more referrals you will get.
The initial invite
For your first set of ambassadors, we recommend inviting everyone you've placed in the past year year, as well as everyone you have interviewed and vetted in the past 6 months. Sometimes the best referrals come from candidates who didn't take the job, so cast a wide net by inviting anyone who has had a positive experience with your company.
Ongoing invites
If Staffing Referrals is integrated with your ATS, new potential ambassadors will automatically be invited to your referral program once they reach the designated status(es).
If Staffing Referrals is not integrated with your ATS, then we recommend uploading a new list of potential ambassadors once a month. To maximize your referral leads, we recommend inviting:
- All new placements
- All new candidates
- Everyone you've interviewed or vetted
- Anyone else who has had a positive experience with your brand
Should you limit your referral program to talent and candidates already in your network? Or should you let anyone submit a referral?
We get this question a lot, and our recommendation is that you open up your referral program to anyone who would like to be an ambassador for your brand -- whether you've worked with them or not. This will help you grow your network even faster, and, as a result, you'll get more referrals.
Here's an example of how this might work:
Your agency specializes in healthcare staffing. Jane, a travel nurse currently on assignment with you, signs up for your referral program and shares her unique link on Facebook.
Jane's friend Reggie, who comes from a family of travel nurses, sees the post. Reggie isn't currently looking for a new contract, but his sister Emma is. Reggie visits your website, signs up for your referral program, and refers Emma to you.
Now, you have two ambassadors -- Jane and Reggie -- instead of just one.
Many of our customers open up their referral programs to anyone who wants to join. If you would like to discuss your options with our customer success team, please reach out to us at success@staffingreferrals.com.
