People can become ambassadors in a couple of different ways. There is no login required to become an ambassador. Dashboards are created automatically.
Staffing Referrals makes it easy for talent in your network to become ambassadors -- no passwords or logins required. Ambassador dashboards are created automatically when someone joins your referral program.
Here are the four ways someone can become an ambassador:
1. Clicking on a link in an automated invite
You can invite people to join your referral program in three ways:
- Via your ATS integration. If Staffing Referrals is integrated with your ATS, talent will automatically be invited to join the referral program based on the candidate status(es) determined during your implementation.
- Through a list upload. You can upload a list of people to invite in Staffing Referrals. Learn how.
- Through a manual invitation. You can invite people individually in your Staffing Referrals portal under Communications > Invite Ambassador.
All three of these methods trigger the Ambassador Invitations workflow (see Settings > Communication Templates > Ambassador Invitations).
If someone clicks on the link to join the program, they will be considered an ambassador and taken directly to their ambassador dashboard.
In this example, as soon as someone clicks on "Refer & Earn $250," they will be considered an ambassador and taken to their ambassador dashboard.
Note: Ambassador dashboard links are created dynamically in real time. They are not active for previews or test communications. If you send yourself a test email and click on the link, it will redirect you to www.staffingreferrals.com. 2. Signing up to become an ambassador using a recruiter's link
Every Staffing Referrals user (admins, office managers, and recruiters) has a unique referral link that they can share. You can find this link on the left-hand side of your Staffing Referrals portal.
We recommend recruiters put this link in their signature, share it on social media, and include it in communications with talent.
When someone fills out the form, they become an ambassador and will be taken to their ambassador dashboard.
3. Signing up to become an ambassador on the company's Join or Refer a Friend page
Staffing Referrals provides forms you can use on your website so people can sign up for your referral program. You can find these forms and their embed codes in Settings > Website Widgets.
When someone fills out the form, they become an ambassador and will be taken to their ambassador dashboard. If the person does not select a specific recruiter, they will be assigned to the default recruiter for your account.
4. Submitting an organic referral in your ATS
If Staffing Referrals is integrated with your ATS and you submit an organic referral using the process outlined in your training, the referrer will automatically become an ambassador in Staffing Referrals.
For example, if a recruiter receives a referral on the phone or in an email, when they create the referral in your ATS, it will sync over to Staffing Referrals.
